Yesterday the girls read And to Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street. Today they'll work on their own books - To Think that I Saw it on Girls Inc. Avenue.
Classroom dialogue:
Jahnni - A horse pulls the first cart but a zebra pulls the second one.
Ms. Mara - We started with...what? That's right. A horse and a wagon. Now we have...?
Nevaeh - An elephant!
Azure - Giraffes!
Jahnni - A genie!
Ms. Mara - A Raja. Can eveyone say raja? Now there's a band in the wagon and...
Azure - and a farmer wants to hear the band.
Ms. Mara - Do you think your parents would believe you if you told them you saw all of this?
All of the girls - No!!!
